This modern throw quilt is made in the classic colour palette of blue and white. The quilt is improv pieced and has shapes reminiscent of the upcycled dress shirts from which its made.
The top is made from upcycled men's dress shirts and includes several tags and pockets from the shirts. The quilt backing is a smooth fabric, with an Indigo-inspired print, and some shirting scraps. The batting is Hobbs 80/20 a blend of cotton and polyester for its warmth and durability and has been densely quilted in a swirly pattern, using a long arm quilting machine. The binding is machine sewn to the front and back for a durable, clean finish.
Generously sized at 62" square, this would be an amazing quilt for a man but would look great in any home, to use as a throw or home accent.
This quilt is prewashed, so is nice and crinkly. It can be washed in both the washer and dryer.
