RATES

SQUARE INCH PRICE

I charge 3 cents per square inch for most of my designs.

For example: A quilt measures 60" x 80"

60 x 80 = 4,800 x .03 = $144 (plus GST)

I do offer some value options at 2.5c

My minimum quilting charge is $60. This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $60 minimum. You may combine smaller items on the same backing to count as 1 item.

All prices are in Canadian dollars.

BATTING

Batting is a separate charge and NOT included in the square inch price.

I stock Hobbs batting on the roll and sell it by the inch.

I will only use what is absolutely necessary. Whenever possible I will use the shortest side of your quilt top plus 5 inches.

For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 65" inches of the batting of your choice.

65" of Hobbs 80/20 96 wide @ $0.35/in =  $22.75.

65" of Hobbs Heirloom Wool 108" wide @ $0.75/in =  $48.75

Hobbs 80/20 - Cotton/ Poly Natural 96"  wide $0.35/in

Hobbs 80/20 - Cotton/ Poly Natural 120" wide $0.47/in

Hobbs 80/20 - Cotton/ Poly Bleached 108" wide $0.47/in

Hobbs Heirloom Premium Wool 108" wide $0.75/in

If you prefer, you may provide your own high-quality batting.

THREAD

Usually, I blend a neutral thread color with the medium to lightest fabrics in your quilt top, but I love using colours too, so let me know what you like!

I use primarily Glide and Wonderfil threads, which are included in the square inch price.

As mentioned above, batting is not included in the per inch price. GST & PST will be collected where applicable.
